Discrimination toolkit: Avon & Somerset Constabulary workshop presentation slides

The IOPC held a series of race discrimination workshops for complaint handlers within the police and staff within local policing bodies that handle reviews and perform a scrutiny role. Presentations were made by the IOPC and guest speakers, covering a wide range of subjects including understanding how race discrimination may feature in allegations; gathering and analysing the evidence and reaching appropriate conclusions; effective communication; and an insight into police force initiatives.
