Our strategy and performance

Our transformation is about radically rethinking how we work and think, so we can work smarter not harder. Alongside this, we publish a number of reports that show how we are performing.

As part of our transformation programme, we will be:

  • Designing our services around our users and being proportionate – doing what we need to do to get to the right outcome and no more.
  • Clarifying and streamlining decision-making and approval processes – ensuring that our people are empowered and enabled, at all levels, to deliver a brilliant service.
  • Standardising and optimising our processes – embedding proportionality and quality control, increasing consistency and improving our ability to continuously improve.
  • Revamping our people experience – embedding EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) and wellbeing, expanding our learning and development offering, and nurturing an inclusive culture and community spirit built on transparency, collaboration and accountability.
  • Effectively utilising technology to make our work easier – reducing time spent on administrative tasks with AI and automation, and increasing opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
