In November 2022, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust submitted a super-complaint  about the police response to stalking on behalf of the National Stalking Consortium. The IOPC, the College of Policing and His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services jointly investigated this super-complaint and published a report setting out our conclusions and recommendations.

The IOPC reviewed 50 cases investigated or reviewed by the IOPC that involved stalking, as part of the super-complaint investigation. The purpose of the IOPC case review was to assess whether the issues raised in the super-complaint were evident as themes across IOPC cases involving stalking.

This annex reports on the IOPC’s findings, and can also be accessed in a plain text format.
