Reasonable adjustments for service users policy
This policy sets out our commitment and approach to providing reasonable adjustments for our service users.
We have a legal duty under the Equality Act 2010 to ensure that the services we offer are inclusive and accessible. We recognise that we must take reasonable steps to ensure all service users are able to use our services, including people with protected characteristics.
Our policy sets out the process for making a reasonable adjustment. It also sets out the process for removing or reducing the effect of any barriers that may create a disadvantage for people with disabilities and/or additional needs. It outlines the factors we take into account when dealing with requests for reasonable adjustments.
We want to improve accessibility for everybody that we come into contact with. Our policy applies to all of our service users.
