SYP - PC Owen Davies

Read information about our investigation into the conduct of South Yorkshire Police officer PC Owen Davies, following allegations he shared operational images without a policing purpose for doing so.

Our investigation began in November 2020 and concluded in February 2022. We found he had a case to answer for gross misconduct and SYP arranged disciplinary proceedings. On 2 June 2023, the independently-chaired panel found gross misconduct proven and he was dismissed without notice. See below for more information.
