Police interaction with teenagers prior to deaths in Ely - South Wales

Read information here about our investigation into police interaction with two teenagers prior to a fatal collision in Ely, Cardiff on 22 May 2023.  Sadly, Kyrees Sullivan and Harvey Evans, died in the incident. Our investigation began after we received a referral from South Wales Police, due to CCTV footage showing a marked police van driving behind the boys’ electric bike, in a nearby street, shortly before the collision.
