PC Adnan Ali - Greater Manchester Police

Read more about our investigation into the conduct of GMP officer PC Adnan Ali following a report that he abused his position for a sexual purpose.

This was referred to us in October 2018 and was subject to a managed investigation, carried out by the force under our direction and control. The investigation concluded in August 2019 and a file was passed to the Crown Prosecution Service. PC Ali was found guilty of multiple counts of misconduct in public office and sexual assault on 24 April 2023, following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
