Lancashire Police - Imran Sultan

Read information about our investigation into the level of police involvement prior to a fatal collision in Lancashire. We received a referral from Lancashire Police following the incident on Sunday 18 July 2021, in Hapton, on the A679, in which Imran Sultan, 29, sadly died. Our investigation concluded in November 2021 and found Lancashire Police officers acted in accordance with local and national policies. An inquest ended on Thursday 21 July 2022 with the coroner determining Mr Sultan died as a result of a road traffic collision.
