Allegations against police constable for inappropriate relationship - West Mercia

Read information about our investigation into allegations against a West Mercia police officer of an inappropriate, sexual relationship with a woman he met through his duties. Our investigation began began in May 2020 following a referral regarding the conduct of PC Mark Hidden from the force. PC Hidden resigned from West Mercia Police in 2022. At a misconduct hearing on 9 May 2023, an independent panel determined he would have been dismissed if still serving.
