Accrington incident - Lancashire Constabulary

This is an investigation concerning the behaviour of two Lancashire Constabulary officers during an incident, in Accrington, in April 2020.

The incident was captured on social media and, as a result, the force voluntarily referred themselves.

We carried out an independent investigation, which concluded in December 2020. One officer received a written warning following a misconduct meeting in May 2021. Another officer whose conduct was investigated was found to have no case to answer.
