South Wales Police - PC Paul Higgins

PC Paul Higgins, aged 41, is also charged with three counts of unauthorised access to police computer systems and data, and one count of improper exercise of police powers.

We have been advised that criminal proceedings have been discontinued against South Wales Police officer Paul Higgins, after a jury failed to reach a verdict at a trial in August. 

We will now liaise with the force over any potential next steps concerning disciplinary matters for the officer.
