Right Care, Right Person - Frequently asked questions and case studies - May 2024

In March 2024, we published our Right Care Right Person (RCRP) position statement. We also have a set of RCRP frequently asked questions and case studies for Professional Standards Departments. 

This document aims to help them when applying the mandatory death and serious injury referral criteria for incidents involving RCRP. It also addresses some questions we received from police forces about our handling of RCRP cases and includes case studies about when RCRP cases can meet the death and serious injury referral criteria.
