Prior police contact concerning Alfie Steele - West Mercia

Read information here about our investigation into contact West Mercia Police had concerning Alfie Steele prior to his death. The 9 year-old's mother and her partner were found guilty of his manslaughter and murder respectively in June 2023. We are now investigating the contact that the force had concerning his mother and her partner over a period of three years before Alfie died in February 2021.
