Allegations of failure to declare inappropriate relationship - Dyfed-Powys Police

Read information about our investigation into allegations that a Dyfed-Powys Police officer failed to disclose an inappropriate relationship with a female victim of crime. Our investigation began in July 2020 after a complaint referral from the force. After the conclusion of our investigation, Dyfed-Powys Police held a gross misconduct hearing for Police Sergeant Karl Longhurst. At the hearing on 10 November 2022, the independent panel decided he should be dismissed.
