GMP - PC Julian Maynard sentenced

Read information about our investigation into GMP officer Julian Maynard who was found to have abused his position as a police officer by forming inappropriate relationships with two women.
Our investigation began in May 2020 and concluded in July 2021. PC Maynard pleaded guilty to two counts of misconduct in public office at Preston Crown Court in December 2021. A judge sentenced him to eight months’ imprisonment on 1 April 2022.
